Ernestine Vicari is a native of Michigan. She now lives in Jensen Beach Florida. She attended Oakland Community Collage and Oakland U. she then continued her art education attending numerous classes and workshops here in the US and in Germany under professional artist. Her work has been featured in galleries throughout Florida. Her cards, and prints of historic street scenes lighthouses and local beaches are available on her website, Fine Art America, 2nd st gallery and other local gift stores. Ernestine has been pursuing art since she was a child. Making doll clothes out of thread and sequins, gravitating to any craft offered in school or through clubs. Ernestine gets her inspiration from the beauty of the world that surrounds her, whether its the Ocean, the Woodlands or a cloudy, misty sky. She works in most medium but her main focus is watercolor and collage. Anything to do with the sea sends her looking for her tools. She has been blessed with many mentors who have helped her develop her semi abstracted realistic style.
