My main focus as a teacher is in teaching beginners, students who have never painted before.  My technique is a step by process through which every student learns how to paint and complete a finished painting ready for framing in each class.
For collage the specialness of combining watercolor, acrylic and various natural and synthetic papers to create a three dimensional piece of art is exhilarating.  The design and style often emerge effortlessly.  Watercolor is always a happy surprise, The students follow my lead but their innate ability shines through so everyone ends up with an original of their own artistic sense.  Students will earn about design and composition, while creating a floral, seascape or abstract painting.
